Expect a sweet nose, with aromas of strawberry, manuka honey, and salty chocolate all arriving. Stewed orchard fruits develop on the palate, alongside sea salt, polished oak, and bitter Arabica coffee. The finish is warmly smoky and elegant, full of smooth chocolate and little bursts of fruit. A sensation.

This Islay Single Malt from the island’s oldest operational distillery has been matured in the finest Oloroso sherry casks for 9 years. Presented at 40% abv, this peaty expression reflects the natural elements surrounding Bowmore’s legendary No.1 Vaults, the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland.The nose has rich cocoa, raisins and pepper balanced with citrus notes and subtle Islay smoke. The palate offers complex sherry and peat smoke with dark fruits and sweet creme caramel following, while the finish brings a balance of sea salt and peat smoke.

The story goes that the church in Bowmore was built without corners so that the Devil could not hide. One evening, the locals chased the devil out the church and he ran into Bowmore Distillery and hid inside casks bound for mainland Scotland. These casks became ‘The Devil’s Casks.’
A single malt whisky matured in first fill sherry oak casks, specifically Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez, which impart a rich and intense flavour, producing ‘Double the Devil’.A very limited expression – this series has generated a cult status among whisky fans, so don’t miss out!

Dark in colour, on the nose this is a rich and complex aroma of thick fruits and earthy toffee. The palate is smooth and oily, with dried fruits and treacle, which develops into smoky fruitcake on the long lasting finish.
