Distilled in November 1995 and matured in a single cask (#1995/217) for almost a quarter of a century, this expression was bottled in January 2020 at a strength of 51.7% abv. Just 294 bottles have been produced, each one presented in a beautiful trapezoidal bottle.

Arran 1996 #862 The Whisky Shop London Exclusive
$237.00 Availability: In StockExclusive to The Whisky Shop London, this Arran 1996 single cask is one of the oldest expressions ever released by the distillery. Long-aged Arran casks are hard to find, as the distillery only began operating the year before in 1995. This expression spent 24 years lying in rest in a sherry cask. It is free from chill filtration and has a natural deep amber colour. Bottled at 47.8% abv, there are only 231 bottles available which are strictly limited to one per customer.
A rich, and juicy nose, it has flavours of macerated dried fruits, red cherries, dark chocolate, and this sweetness is paired with a savoury herbal character. The finish is warm and luxurious, both sweet and savoury, and with a lingering note of chocolate orange. This is a premium single malt that exemplifies the innovative spirit of the Arran distillery, and one we feel privileged to offer.

Certainly one of the oldest Arran single malts ever released, there are only 247 bottles made – exclusive to The Whisky Shop. Â
Expect complex dark fruit flavours from the outset. The whisky develops into something truly remarkable with indulgent notes of soft caramel, exotic spices, orchard fruits and polished oak. The finish is long and lingering and includes notes of figs, brown sugar and dark chocolate.

Arran 1999 #225
$140.00 Availability: In StockA spectacular and premium single cask from Arran, bottled exclusively for The W Club. This expression was distilled in 1999 and matured in a single sherry hogshead for 21 years before being bottled in 2020 at 50.6% abv. Only 248 bottles were produced with no chill filtration or added colouring.Â
Expect light citrus fruit, ripe banana, raisins and a hint of almonds on the nose, followed by a rich and delightful palate. The taste has exotic notes that combine delicately with liquorice, subtle spices and a hint of coconut. The finish is long and inviting, with more exotic flavours mixed with soft fruit notes.Â

The nose is sweet with red apples and an underlying maltiness, followed by pastry notes. A tinge of spice appears on the palate with star anise, cinnamon, and flavours of dark chocolate and raisins. Expect a long and warming finish with a nice balance between sweet and spicy flavours.Â

At the time of release it was the oldest expression available from the Island distillery, It has been matured for a quarter of a decade in sherry and bourbon casks. Bottled at 46% abv, and presented in a superb oak display case.
On the nose, we find notes of rich oak, subtle nutmeg, baked fig and black cherry, before a palate full of fruit cake, toasted almonds and cinnamon. Oranges, Manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and an interesting white pepper note lead to a creamy, spicy finish of dark chocolate and walnuts.
