Expect aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, orange, and cinnamon, with flavours of dark chocolate, candied citrus fruits, rich espresso, nutmeg, and soft liquorice on the palate. More citrus is unlocked on the finish, along with hints of molasses.

With just 20,000 bottles being sold world-wide, you’ll find that this is a must-have collector’s item, with a unique style of maturation. Originally matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, the dram was then finished in an astonishing combination of seven cask types before finally being brought together in the bottle. The casks used included vintage calvados, rare sherry, and hand-selected red wine barriques.

Now bottled at 49.2% abv for easy drinking, you’ll find delectable notes of orchard fruits, delicate rose, warm vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon spice on the nose, before delving into a mouth-watering palate of butterscotch, wood spices, red apples, and Seville oranges, and a finish fresh baked brioche and lingering cassia bark.

Beginning its life in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, this Highland single malt is then split between American white oak and aged Tawny port pipes from W & J Graham’s vineyard in Portugal. These are then married back together to harmonise the flavours before bottling at a strength of 46.5% abv.The nose is sweet with plum and Seville orange, red berries and sticky toffee pudding. The palate is creamy with caramel, nectarines, roasted chestnuts and a touch of espresso. The finish brings more fruits with macerated cherries, blood orange, rich plums and sultanas.

This Strathisla 15 Year Old Darkness takes the characteristics of the Keith distillery and harmonises them with an intensely sherried character. This expression has enjoyed a six month long finishing period in Moscatel sherry octave casks. This small cask gives the whisky a generous helping of sherried, fruity notes.

The nose is a maze of dried tobacco, Lindt chocolate, and a rich aromatic oakiness. Cinnamon, sweet demerara sugar, and freshly picked herbs all settle on the palate. The finish is rich, sweet, with a little kick of spice.

Matured in hogshead casks and finished in first fill Kentucky bourbon casks, this Highland Single Malt hails from Deanston distillery on the banks of the river Teith. Aged for 18 years in the former cotton mill that acts as Deanston’s warehouse, this expression is non chill-filtered and presented at natural colour.Showcasing Deanston’s signature profile, this 18 year old is sweet with honeyed fruit and a deep, rich finish, distinguishing itself with aromatic and balanced notes of American oak and hints of tobacco and nutmeg.

An outstanding twelve-year-old expression from Dewar’s. The expression has enjoyed a futher six months in oak casks after the initial maturation and blending processes. Bursting with decadent flavours, this is an exceptional blended dram!

The nose is smooth and rich with notes of marzipan. The palate brings honey, freshly baked bread, liquorice, and some gentle spice before leading into a sumptuous and smoky finish with hints of malt loaf appearing at the close.

Sweet vanilla, apple and apricot and dry cured meat aromas with peat smoke undertones. Ripe banana, kiwi and vibrant hints of fresh citrus on the palate, leading to a long, sweet and smoky finish.

Bottled as a part of Gordon & MacPhail’s Discovery series, this Glenrothes expression has been aged for 11 years in carefully chosen sherry casks. Presented at 43% abv.

Rich toffee aromas mingle with stewed fruits, sherry, forest fruits and cinnamon. Raspberry and blackberries are complemented by cinnamon and charred oak, with creamy milk chocolate and orange zest on the finish.
