This expression celebrates the origin of the Powers whiskey tradition and provides a glimpse of the whiskey style that made Powers famous. Using a pot still distillate which is true to the original style of John’s Lane, the whiskey has been matured for not less than 12 years, mainly in first fill American bourbon casks, with a small contribution of distillate which has been matured in Oloroso sherry butts. The result is a Single Pot Still whiskey of outstanding flavour and complexity which provides a fitting tribute to the spiritual home of one of Ireland’s most loved whiskeys.

Launched in 2018, Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced by former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, Conor McGregor. Crafted with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder, this expression is triple distilled at one of Ireland’s oldest distilleries and matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at 40% abv. Proper No. Twelve is named in homage to McGregor’s hometown, Crumlin, located in the Dublin 12 area.

The nose has vanilla pod, floral barley and woody notes. The palate brings fruity apple and honey, followed by a kick of white pepper. The finish brings a toasted oak heat with some soft caramel.

The additional three years of aging give this whiskey a mellower taste than the Redbreast 12 Year Old, and have earned this expression multiple awards in competitions around the world. The expression is matured in both ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, and is presented at 46% abv and free from chill filtration.

Expect aromas of caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg, leading to a palate full of sweet spices like ginger, fennel and cinnamon, with touches of sherry, toffee and oak. The finish is a dry and peppery one, where the sweet spices linger on and on.

Many regard Redbreast 18 Year Old as one of Ireland’s finest whiskies. Triple distilled in a single pot still, and matured in a combination of bourbon, Oloroso sherry and ruby Port casks, the warming dram is bottled at 46% abv. 

Expect delectable aromas of red berries and polished oak, before a wonderful palate of hazelnut chocolate, toasted almonds, cinnamon, ginger, dried figs and orange peel.

Rémy Martin XO stands as the signature cognac of their Cellar Master, who skillfully merges hundreds of eaux-de-vie. This superbly presented 35cl bottling is a blend of 85% Grande Champagne and 15% Petite Champagne, which has been matured for at least ten years. Presented at 40% abv.

Opulent by its taste, XO reveal its aromas progressively throughout the tasting. Starting with plum, mature fig and candied orange to spicy notes with a hint of cinnamon and freshly crushed hazelnuts, finishing on gourmet notes of roasted cocoa beans, honey and ginger.

The base spirit originates from NINJA sake, which is then reimagined with a thoughtful selection of Japanese botanicals. Bottled at 43% ABV, you can expect a nose of fresh green aromas rise first, with bright sudachi citrus and sencha green tea. Distilled at Royal Brackla, this Highland single malt matured for 18 years and has enjoyed a finish in Palo Cortado sherry casks. The expression was bottled at 46% abv.

The nose has fresh vanilla, buttercream, ginger snaps, and orange peel. The palate brings Christmas cake, dried fruit, and dark chocolate. The finish is smooth with sweet oak and peaches.

This Royal Brackla 21 Year Old is the oldest single malt released from the first Scotch whisky distillery ever granted a Royal Warrant, by King William IV in 1833. This expression completed its long maturation in ex-sherry casks, being finished in a combination of Oloroso, Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximenez casks and bottled at 46% abv.

Expect toffee notes, with fragrant summer fruits and cinnamon and muscovado sugar.
