First released in 2017, this is the first whiskey from Jack Daniel’s with a different mash-bill from the standard Tennessee Whiskey since the prohibition. Created with 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley using the same charcoal filtration as normal Jack Daniel’s bourbons.

A tribute to the cooper’s method of charring barrels, this Irish whiskey is a triple distilled blend of small batch grain and traditional Irish pot still whiskeys in twice charred casks.Intense vanilla sweetness and caramel alongside toasted wood, fruits and warm spice.

Continuing John Jameson’s legacy of triple distillation while staying true to the pot still character he established in 1780, Jameson is remarkably smooth and perfectly balanced.Following long maturation in oak casks, unpeated pure pot still and grain whiskies are blended to create the unique Jameson taste, a process overseen from ‘grain to glass’ at the Midleton Single Distillery in Cork. Jameson has a warm, golden honey colour. This appetising appearance delivers through to the smooth and quality taste of the whiskey.

This iconic American whiskey proudly states on its label ‘the world’s No.1 bourbon’ and has been a fixture in bars around the world since it was first distilled in 1795. Matured for four years in newly charred American white oak casks, it is bottled at 40% abv.

The nose is full of oaky vanilla with a spicy backdrop. The palate is mellow and smooth with sweet caramel and vanilla, before a long and lingering finish.

A rare Japanese whisky, this 1984 expression from Karuizawa was aged for 28 years in a single sherry cask. It was decanted in 2012, into only 445 bottles at a cask strength of 59.3% abv. It is a part of four ‘Cocktail Series’ bottlings specially selected by La Maison du Whisky in Paris, France.

Karuizawa distillery crafted whisky on the southern slopes of Mount Asama from 1955 to its closure in 2001, however, indepedent bottler Number One Drinks have since released precious single malts from their warehouse. It has become one of the most sought-after single malts in the world, especially as the stock continues to wear thin.

Distilled in 1990, this vintage single cask expression hails from the now-closed Karuizawa distillery. After a maturation in a first fill sherry butt, this incredibly rare whisky was bottled at a 56.1% abv in 2012.

On the nose, there is wood polish, mint, pine needles, and currants alongside a surprising meaty note. The sherry influence is clear in the palate which is full of garden herbs, toasted oak, and raisins.  The finish is peppery and sweet.

A non- age statement rye whiskey from Knob Creek, this came to the market in 2012 after a long wait following its popular release in the USA. Often known to strike a compromising balance between the typically spicy or sweet rye whiskeys, it has been ‘patiently aged’ to give the drinker the best of both worlds. Instead of corn as the master grain, it is high quality rye. Knob Creek Rye is still made in small batches, and aged in the deepest charred barrels and bottled at a full 100 proof to maintain a big flavour.

It has a unique rye spiciness and warm smooth flavour. Try it in a classic Old Fashioned or Manhattan – or just sip it neat or with ice.

As part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Return to Oz collection showcasing the best of Australian whisky, this single malt hails from Launceton distillery – located in the historic Hanger 17 within the oldest surviving aviation building in Tasmania. The expression was matured for five years in an ex-Bourbon barrel. On the bottle, the deadly animal chosen to represent Launceton is Australian cricket captain, Ricky Ponting. He stands alongside the distillery’s resident dog, Angus the Westie, interviewing a Tasmanian Devil for a job whisky making. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 62.6% abv.

Expect aromas of custard creams, green banana and pineapple, leading to a palate of ripe banana, caramel and a spicy, herbal note.

This Canadian Rye is distilled in small batches using only locally sourced ingredients. Using a mash bill of 90% rye and 10% malted barley, this expression was relaunched to great acclaim in 2012 following more than a decade out of production.Distilled in a single copper pot still to create a full bodied and complex whisky with earthy and woody notes, before a velvety smooth vanilla oak finish.
