Description
Crafted by Bill Samuels Sr, this cracking bourbon went through six whole years of trial and error recipe development. Their final recipe is an expert mix of corn, barley and wheat that produces this perfect American whiskey. Maker’s Mark is matured in charred American oak barrels for three long hot Kentucky summers and bottled at 45% abv. This distinctive bottle also features its signature red wax sealed top.
Expect aromas of caramel and toasted creme brulee, with a hint of cherry. The palate leads to a surprising taste of roasted hazelnuts and baking spices. On the close, a deceptively light finish with a spiciness that grows as time goes on.
