The Kurayoshi Pure Malt 12 Year Old is a blended malt from Matsui Shuzou, crafted in the Tottori Prefecture. Aged for twelve years and bottled at 43% ABV, it offers a glimpse into the distillery’s meticulous approach to blending.

On the nose, this refined whisky presents charred orange peel, fresh lemongrass and warm rye bread, creating an inviting and aromatic opening. The palate follows with impressive depth, delivering crisp apple, juicy white grape and soft barley, lifted by lime blossom and ginger, with a subtle wisp of smoke weaving through the background.

The next cult classic, The Loch Fyne Ben Nevis 2012 11 Year Old #1615 contains layers of complexity that will have you comparing tasting notes for hours. Matured in an Oloroso sherry butt and bottled at 58.3% abv, you can expect to encounter that classic funk flavour from the outset which is balanced by sweet notes of candied citrus and fresh zinging flavours of ginger. The finish includes notes of fresh dates, sticky toffee pudding and a touch of orange peel. Try it with some dark chocolate.

A smooth and mellow blended whisky that Loch Fyne Whiskies call ‘the malt drinker’s blend.’ First introduced to the market in 1996, it is now presented in a new bottle, however the liquid remains the same firm customer favourite.

The latest single cask limited edition from the Loch Fyne Whiskies range, this Speyside single malt from Craigellachie distillery is limited to just 990 bottles. This expression has spent 12 years in a single sherry cask before being bottled at 59% abv.

Initial aromas are quite dry, with notes of sandpaper, matchboxes and dried flowers; the nose develops with time, first offering plums and damson jam, then a burst of fresh fruits, peaches, apricot and stewed apple. The first sip offers a sweet palate with gentle spices, golden syrup, pear drops and a touch of pineapple, then black pepper brings those spices to the fore but on a sweet base reminiscent of rich pudding wine. There’s a great depth to its finish, warm with pepper and nutmeg, and a touch of charcoal.

This 18-year-old Craigellachie from The Loch Fyne Fynest range offers a deep, complex dram. It brings a classic Speyside richness with a balance of fruity sweetness and subtle spice. Bottled at 61.7% ABV without chill filtration or added colour, it’s a whisky that offers remarkable depth, yet retains that signature Craigellachie punch. 

Bottled by Loch Fyne Whiskies, this 10-year-old Glenallachie expression has been lovingly treated to a finish in a single Ximenez-Spinola sherry cask. Limited to just 438 bottles, at a strength of 54.4% abv.

Expect notes of toffee apple, treacle and stewed berries.
