Description
Part of Hunter Laing & Co’s Old Malt Cask series of single cask releases, this Speyside single malt was distilled in May 1993 and matured for 24 years in a refill barrel. Presented at a preferred strength of 50% abv, only 122 bottles were produced in September 2017.The nose has rich marzipan with plum and toffee aspects. The palate opens with caramel, before fresh green grass and apples appear. The finish is medium in length with a lingering sweetness.
