Royal Salute 21 year old
$150.00 Availability: In StockInitially produced in 1953 for the Queen’s coronation and drawing from the exceptionally aged range of casks laid down over the years by Chivas Brothers in the Highlands of Scotland, Charles Julien, Master Blender, skilfully married the powerful flavours of whiskies aged no less than 21 years to craft a blend fit for royalty. It was named Royal Salute 21 Years Old, in reference to the long tradition of firing cannons as a sign of respect or welcome to sovereigns and dignitaries: the 21-Gun Royal Salute.Over the years, this special blend has stayed true to its roots. The porcelain flagon, crafted by the world-famous artisans at Wade, is sculpted in Cornish clay from the Jurassic-era, then naturally air-dried and finished by hand with a double layer of glazing to protect its precious contents. The three different colours of glaze used to dress the flagons – Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald – symbolize the precious gems on the Imperial State Crown. -
Royal Salute 38 year old Stone of Destiny
$999.00 Availability: In StockRoyal Salute 38 Years Old Stone of Destiny is presented in a distinctive porcelain granite-effect flagon, crafted by Revol in France. Such an evocatively elemental setting is enhanced by a hand-crafted 24 carat gold plated crest commemorating the arms of Scottish brave-hearted warriors. This martial motif is then carried through to the 24 carat gold-plated stopper inspired by the hilt of the ancient two handed Scottish broadsword, the Claymore.
Crafted from whiskies aged for no less than 38 years, this unique blend shares its name with the Stone of Destiny, that legendary and enigmatic Coronation stone of the ancient Scottish Kings. Some even say it is the Stone of Jacob, referred to in Old Testament Book of Genesis. The Scots certainly hold it in reverent awe and were jubilant in 1996 when, after many battles and exactly 700 years in English hands, it was finally returned to its homeland, Scotland. It was last used in Westminster Abbey at the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II, and now rests in Edinburgh Castle alongside the Honours of Scotland, the Scottish Crown Jewels.

Individually blown by the Master Glass Blowers who mould the elegant shape of the crystal clear inner wall, and delicately coat it with a midnight blue crystal outer wall, the bottle is then hand cut with a diamond-tipped tool so that both the clear glass and tantalizing glimpses of the golden whisky might be revealed through the blue crystal.
