$72.00 Availability: In StockThis Speyside single malt was distilled in 2011 at Craigellachie distillery before spending the next eight years maturing in a single wine barrel. Bottled in 2019 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series, this expression produced just 330 bottles at a strength of 46% abv.
The nose has sweet apple and strawberry notes with a lemon zest edge. The palate brings more sweetness with salted caramel, followed by pepper and spices. The finish is long with lingering pepper notes.

Distilled on 14th July 2008, we’ve chosen to bottle this Speysider at a preferred strength of 40% abv.The nose is rich in honey-coated peaches and mangoes, toasted poppy seed and a hint of liquorice. The palate is rich and waxy with the bite of blood orange and a touch of white pepper, mellowing to creamy candy and sherbet. The finish has some classic Craigellachie earthy notes, with a slightly oily, charcoal finale. -
Mossburn Craigellachie 2007 13 Year Old
$64.95 Availability: In StockThis Speyside single malt was distilled in 2007 at Craigellachie distillery before spending an initial maturation in ex-bourbon barrels. The expression was then finished in Oloroso sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2021 at 46% abv by Mossburn as part of their Vintage Casks series.
The nose has lots of bright orange notes with a slight smoky hint. The palate brings plenty of dried fruits as well as a subtle spiciness. This spice continues in the lingering finish.

The nose is spicy and fruity with tobacco and brown sugar. The palate brings a mouthfilling sweetness, with caramel sauce and Christmas pudding, before a long and sweet finish with lingering toffee apple notes.

A mellow nose-feel, dry overall, the top notes are of fruit loaf, with sultanas, dates, and kitchen spices. Beneath this, a suggestion of espresso coffee and dark chocolate. A smooth texture and a sweet taste to start, drying to a long, spicy finish.
