The national drink of China, baiju is a clear spirit that has been made in the country for over 5,000 years. Made from a combination of wheat and sorghum, this moutai baiju hails from the Guizhou province. It is classified as being a ‘sauce aroma’ type, so expect strong umami and caramelized flavours. It has often been compared to a strongly peated Scotch, as it has a similarly complex and divisive taste. Use as a special accent to a cocktail, or impress your friends with your exceptionally refined palate. Bottled at 53% abv.
