Description
Glenfarclas means ‘the vally of the green grass’. The distillery independently owned and houses the largest stills in Speyside. Glenfarclas 25 Year Old is a full-bodied and robust whisky with both sherry and the oak fighting for attention, yet neither overpowering. It is a great after-dinner whisky so rich and full that it is a dessert in itself.
Expect aromas of delicate peat, honey, coffee, sherry and hazelnuts, leading to a palate full of sherry and oak, with a subtle smokiness. The finish is long and intense, with a malty chocolate flavour.
