Description
Old school cool. This Bruichladdich is aged for 28 years in a Rivesaltes (sweet wine) butt. This is the 19th batch from That Boutique-y Whisky Company and was originally a release of 1,123 bottles at 48.5% abv. On the label, we see a certain Laddie on The Generation Game, a very prestigious position at the time.
Rich fruit cake, nuttiness, and sultanas combine on the nose, followed by hints of burnt toffee, spices and dates on the palate. A long, sooty finish awaits, with a hit of dried apricot.
