Matured in a single refill sherry puncheon for over three decades, the Speyside expression was then bottled at a cask strength of 51.7% abv. One of only 418 bottles.
Aromas of autumnal spice, apple and hazelnuts on the nose, with a palate of vanilla fudge and blackcurrant balanced by black pepper. A full finish with lingering herbal influences.

First Editions Tamnavulin 2010
$78.00 Availability: In StockThis Speyside single malt was distilled in 2010 at Tamnavulin distillery. After ten years in a wine cask, this expression was bottled in 2021 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series. Only 434 bottles have been filled at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
Aromas of vanilla fudge and pineapple fill the nose. The palate is smooth and round, with crème brulée, fruits and yet more vanilla. The finish is long and sweet with a hint of fruit.

Old Malt Cask Tamnavulin 22 Year Old
$160.00 Availability: In StockDistilled at Tamnavulin distillery in May 1994 and matured for 22 years in a single refill hogshead, this Speyside single malt was finally bottled in April 2017 by Hunter Laing & Co of Glasgow as part of their Old Malt Cask range of single cask expressions. Only 290 bottles were produced, each one at a preferred strength of 50% abv.The nose has fresh vanilla, banana skin and caramel with cafe latte aspects. The palate brings vanilla fudge and oranges, with almonds, oak and a hint of pepper. The finish is long and drying with oranges and a touch of oak. -
Tamnavulin 2010 12 Year Old Hepburn’s Choice Wine Cask
$79.00 Availability: In StockReleased as a part of Hunter Laing’s Hepburn’s Choice range, this whisky showcases the glorious characteristics of the Speyside region. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023, the Tamnavulin expression has been matured in a single carefully-selected wine barrel for 12 years. Presented at 46% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour. One of only 352 bottles.
Expect notes of sweet toffee and dried fruits on the nose, leading to a palate full of caramel, milk chocolate and fig flavours which linger on well into the finish.
