Description
Distilled at Tamnavulin distillery in May 1994 and matured for 22 years in a single refill hogshead, this Speyside single malt was finally bottled in April 2017 by Hunter Laing & Co of Glasgow as part of their Old Malt Cask range of single cask expressions. Only 290 bottles were produced, each one at a preferred strength of 50% abv.The nose has fresh vanilla, banana skin and caramel with cafe latte aspects. The palate brings vanilla fudge and oranges, with almonds, oak and a hint of pepper. The finish is long and drying with oranges and a touch of oak.
