This malt is free from chill filtration and arrives at a punchy 53.8% abv.
The nose is one of ginger nut biscuits, and the sherry presence is felt, along with crème brulée. The palate is one of dried fruit cake, malt loaf, and a vanilla ice-cream smoothness. Dried apricots, smooth honey and a certain nuttiness reveal themselves on a smooth finish.

This limited edition release is a celebration of the relationship, and first-fill American oak sherry cask maturation. North American oak began its journey to Jerez, Spain, where the wood was crafted into casks over a long time. Finally, the Oloroso sherry seasoned the wood, and this is where the Tamdhu spirit enters the story. Rich fruity flavours shine in this single malt, a classic Tamdhu.
On the nose arises aromas of warm cinnamon, notes of vanilla, sharp citrus, and a hint of cherry. The palate is rich, full, and alive with chocolate, plums, dried fruit, dates, fruitcake, and subtle toasted oak. The finish is syrupy, sweet, and spicy.
