Description
This Tamdhu Cigar Malt is crafted to complement the perfect cigar. This dram uses a small selection of first fill European oak sherry casks, chosen for their robust character. This is so they can go hand-in-hand with the rich flavour of a first-rate cigar, and more than that, allow both experiences to better the other. This malt is free from chill filtration and arrives at a punchy 53.8% abv.
The nose is one of ginger nut biscuits, and the sherry presence is felt, along with crème brulée. The palate is one of dried fruit cake, malt loaf, and a vanilla ice-cream smoothness. Dried apricots, smooth honey and a certain nuttiness reveal themselves on a smooth finish.
