Described as ‘a whisky where nature and artistry converge’ this Brume Dorée  (‘golden mist’) cask matured SPEY 12 year old was left to age in innovative French casks. Using virgin oak, the casks uses water mist and controlled heat to open the wood’s pores, enhancing the oak-spirit interaction.

Beginning life with a 120-hour fermentation and slow distillation, before resting for 12 years, this release was bottled at 57.6% abv. The nose is rich and inviting with vanilla infused toffee and cardamom spices, underlaid with cranberry jam. The palate is smooth and inviting with an oily mouthfeel full of stewed apples and new oak influences. The finish brings robustness and depth with lingering liquorice and oolong tea.

SPEY 26 Year Old, with an impressive 46% ABV, is a tribute to the stunning Cairngorms and the heart of Speyside whisky-making. This exceptional whisky was matured in a variety of casks, with a final enriching period in sherry casks, resulting in a beautifully layered flavour profile.

On the nose, you’ll find a delightful mix bringing the nostalgia of Christmas with it, featuring almonds, cooking spices and dried fruits. The palate follows on with a rich honied sweetness complemented by the tang of summer berries and bitter chocolate. The finish is smooth, clean, and lasting with a hint of lemon. 

This luxurious Spey expression is named after the Chairman’s tradition of the Chairman selecting special casks on Christmas Day to share with the family. Aged predominantly in sherry casks, it’s bottled at 40% ABV, maintaining a balanced yet indulgent flavour profile. 

Crafted for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, SPEY presents a distinguished 2025 edition of its Chairman’s Choice. A 14-year-old malt finished in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, this liquid was distilled in 2010 and initially matured in American oak, before its final sherry finishing. Bottled at 46% ABV and limited in availability, this special release is a refined tribute to the craftsmanship and heritage celebrated at the festival.

The profile of this dram showcases the richness of Speyside tradition with indulgent notes of figs, dark chocolate, and spiced orange on the nose. The palate reveals a luxurious medley of sticky toffee pudding, dates, and warming nutmeg, all carried by a velvety mouthfeel. A long, resonant finish follows, with hints of raisins, oak, and cinnamon.

This multi-award-winning whisky is the first-ever peated distillery bottling from Speyside Distillers. Crafted from peated barley, which is only used for a limited period each year, it is 100% matured in bourbon barrels. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and free from added colouring. With only 18,000 individually numbered bottles in this limited release, it offers a unique and rare experience.

Whiskeria’s favourite taster, Charles MacLean, describes it as “A golden hue, like vintage champagne.  A distinctly medicinal aroma – carbolic, coal tar soap – on a light & fresh maritime base of salt air, iodine & seaweed. Light texture, sweet & lightly salty, with a smoky, medicinal finish. A finish of bonfire smoke and sweet basil. This would be taken for an Islay malt, although it is lighter in body and better mannered than any of them. More-ish, light, elegant & smoky.”

The Jewel in the Crown of the SPEY range, SPEY Royal Choice is an exceptional whisky crafted from some of the oldest casks in the SPEY warehouse. Rich and powerful in flavour, but light at 46% abv, it boasts a remarkable texture with a long finish. Available in limited quantities, it stands as the pinnacle of the SPEY collection.

Its deep amber gold hue, with aromas of toffee, dried fruits, and oak, leads to a creamy texture, with flavours of butterscotch, warm spices, and oak, culminating in a silky smooth finish that lingers beautifully.

Named after the Latin term for balance, SPEY Trutina lives up to its name with a harmonious flavour profile. A multi-award-winning single malt from the SPEY range, released in late 2016, this beautifully balanced whisky was matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV. 

The nose offers notes of chocolate cheesecake, candied orange, and fresh barley, while the palate reveals layers of almonds, buttered bread, and orchard blossoms, providing a crisp and refreshing experience. The finish is characterised by notes of sugared fruit peels, leaving a satisfying aftertaste. 

This limited edition expression from Speyside Distillery was released in Autumn 2022 as the distillery’s ‘Signature’ Single Malt. Matured entirely in bourbon casks over a full decade, then bottled at a confident 46% ABV with no chill filtration and no added colour, what you’re getting here is whisky at its natural best.

On the nose it’s wonderfully light and inviting with classic Speyside notes of fresh pear, a cooling hint of spearmint, and the nostalgic charm of boiled sweets. The palate adds a satisfying peppery kick, before softening beautifully into cream soda sweetness, which fold perfectly into a buttery smooth finish.
