Bottled in 2018 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series, this expression produced just 348 bottles at a strength of 46% abv.

    The nose is light and sweet with grassy notes, pear drops and barley sugar. The palate is fruity with caramel and a hint of vanilla, before a sweet finish with a whisper of smoke.

    A nose of honey, peaches and vanilla, with a palate of lemon, salted caramel, and sherbet. The finish is long, with lingering spice.

The palate is creamy with vanilla, cinder toffee and sultanas. The finish is long and sweet with slightly fruity notes and a hint of oak.

    A fabulous expression from Highland distillery, Royal Brackla. A single malt whisky aged for 16 years and bottled at 40% volume.

    Mid amber in colour – The aroma is fresh and clean – ‘artists studio’ (oil paint and natural turpentine), slightly acidic (citric acid), with sanded oak as a base. A light sweet taste to start, with some spice across the tongue and in the finish, which is very slightly smoky. A drop of water softens and sweetens both aroma and taste.

Distilled in 2006, this expression has spent fourteen years in a refill American hogshead before being bottled in November 2020 at 59.5% abv without chill filtration or added colouring. Highly limited, just 281 bottles have been produced. 

    The nose has sweet and citrus aromas of sherbet lemon, freshly cut grass and a balance of spicy and soft herbal notes. Warm spiced apple and poached pear flavours fill the palate and combine with sweet honey and oak that lingers in a sweet finish.

    Bottled as a part of The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Cask’s Parcel No.12, this expression hails from Royal Brackla distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Made from a small batch of six barrels, the single malt was distilled in 2014, and aged for nine years before being decanted at 48% abv.

    Expect a floral nose of honeysuckle, tarragon and rose petal water, alongside hints of sweet spice and custard creams. The palate is buttery, with lemon oil, black pepper and fresh strawberry flavours, before an elegant finish of buttermilk and subtle spice.
