Description
This Highland single malt was distilled in 2009 at Royal Brackla before spending the next 9 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel. Bottled in 2018 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series, this expression produced just 348 bottles at a strength of 46% abv.
The nose is light and sweet with grassy notes, pear drops and barley sugar. The palate is fruity with caramel and a hint of vanilla, before a sweet finish with a whisper of smoke.
