Lochlea 5 Year Old Limited Edition
$95.00 Availability: In StockThis limited edition Lowland single malt from Lochlea is their first ever age statement release, and their oldest bottling to date. Two of the five casks are from the new distillery’s very first filling in August 2018, with the types being two first-fill bourbon, a first-fill Oloroso sherry, a double matured PX sherry and a double matured Oloroso sherry cask. Presented at 50% abv.
On the nose, expect aromas of baked pineapple, brown sugar, hazelnuts and sourdough bread, before a palate of lemon zest, candied pear crumble and orange peel. Caramel with hints of black pepper, rose petals and leather round off this delectable whisky.Â

Lochlea 6 Year Old Limited Edition

Lochlea Harvest Edition

This expression was created using the barley grown at their farm as well as their own water source. This release, Harvest Edition, marks the end of summer. The coral red on the label is inspired by the colour the Ayrshire soil takes once the barley has been harvested. It was matured in bourbon, port, and Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled at 46% abv. It is free from both artificial colouring and chill filtration.
The dram opens with aromas of ripe pear, apple pie, and oatcakes. The palate brings parma violets, juicy strawberries, and toasted marshmallows before leading into the gentle finish full of freshly cut grass and cereal.

Lochlea Overtone Over & Stout
$60.00 Availability: In StockLochlea Overtone ‘Over and Stout’ is a bold limited edition from Lochlea Distillery in collaboration with Glasgow’s Overtone Brewery. Bottled at a robust 52% ABV, and presented with natural colour and no chill filtration, it retains every ounce of its original depth and texture.
This release draws on just five carefully chosen casks: three stout-seasoned casks (two bourbon barrels and one STR barrique), one first-fill bourbon barrel and one ex-peated bourbon barrel. The result opens with big, sweet notes of stout beer, lifted by light smoke and fresh oak, creating a warm and enticing introduction. The palate follows with creamy vanilla, cinder toffee and rich BBQ smoke, offering a full, rounded mouthfeel with both sweetness and depth. The finish lingers with warming spice, green oak, rye bread and cereal notes, giving a final flourish that is both comforting and complex.

Lochlea Overtone Stout Cask Finish

The liquid began its journey as the already exceptional signature whisky from Lochlea, before being matured initially in a combination of vessels, including bourbon, Oloroso sherry and STR casks, and finally in the pre-seasoned stout casks which had previously housed Overtone stout for eight months. The result is a fruity and biscuity liquid with a 52% ABV and a rich stout nose.

Lochlea Ploughing Edition
$62.00 Availability: In StockThe Lochlea Ploughing Edition is the new Ayrshire distillery’s sixth release so far, and the fourth and final in an annual series of limited seasonal bottlings. This release has been created to echo the season of Winter on the farm, when they begin to plough: laying the groundwork for sowing the barley seed in the Spring. This warming, smoky version of Lochlea was crafted using ex-Islay whisky barrels and peated quarter casks. Bottled at 46% abv, with natural colour and free from chill-filtration.
Expect a nose full of baked fruit with a hint of peat, leading to sweet flavours of old fashioned boiled sweets, stewed apple and brazil nuts. A finish of lingering fruit and nuttiness, all intertwined in a haze of Islay peat smoke.

Lochlea Red Wine Cask 2025 Release
$55.00 Availability: In StockAn annual release which explores the influence of different red wine casks on whisky maturation, the Lochlea Red Wine Cask 2025 Release is the first in the collection, matured in 1st-fill Bourbon barrels, then finished in carefully selected Grenache casks.
The resulting liquid, bottled at 46% abv with natural colour and non-chill filtered, is a bright, fruit-forward whisky, setting a deliciously summer-berry tone from which to evolve this exciting new series. Â
On the nose, expect bright fresh pink berries, sweet and floral, some oak and tannins. The palate follows with fresh juicy red fruits, particularly berries and cherries, sweet vanilla and almond flavours like a strawberry shortcake. These tangy, bright flavours are brought to a soft close in a finish full of rich oak, cereal, tannins and spiced biscuits.
