The Unhurried Collection from Glengoyne distillery presents three 5cl bottlings of their popular core range, alongside a slab of dark chocolate for the ultimate sensory tasting experience. Included are samples of their 10 Year Old, 12 Year Old and 15 Year Old.

Chapter Three in Glengoyne’s Legacy series is inspired by exciseman Sir Arthur John Tedder, who defined the rules of Scotch whisky whilst stationed at the distillery in 1908. Bottled using some of the very finest American oak sherry casks in their warehouses, the exceptional whisky is one that Tedder would have been proud of. Presented at 48% abv.

On the nose, signature Glengoyne deep sherry notes combine with distinctive cinnamon sticks and vanilla aromas. Mixed berry jam and apple strudel intertwine revealing some pear, before the luxurious palate of boozy raisins, spiced buns, tarte tatin and creamy sherry. The finish is light and fruity, which deepens with hints of pineapple, dried fruits, dark chocolate and lingering spice.

Matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and virgin American oak, this expression from Glengoyne is inspired by North America, the summer home of the geese gracing the distillery’s glen every winter. Bottled at 48% abv.

On the nose, there is vibrant oak, vanilla, bright citrus, sponge cake, crisp red apple and ginger amongst hints of unripe banana and violet. The palate shines with crème brulee, fruit gum sweets, candied lemon, jam tarts and tinned pineapple, before a finish full of toasted oak laced with caramel.

Distilled in June 2007 at Glengoyne distillery, this single malt spent 14 years maturing in a refill hogshead. Bottled in February 2022, this expression was produced by renowned independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. for the Old Malt Cask series. Just 66 bottles were produced at a strength of 50% abv.

The nose is sweet with caramel, toffee, and fruit salad drizzled with honey, making way for a spicy palate with plenty of dark chocolate coated cherries, liquorice, and oak. The finish is long, lingering, and satisfying with notes of cocoa powder and orange appearing at the close.

Distilled at the Highland’s Glengoyne distillery in September 2008 and matured in a refill barrel for thirteen years before bottling in April 2022, this single cask expression forms part of independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co’s Old Malt Cask range.

The nose is fruity and sweet with fresh vanilla and apricots. The palate has notes of candied orange peel, boiled sweets, and freshly baked bread before giving way to a lingering, sweet, and fruity finish.

Distilled in September 2008, the Old Malt Cask Glengoyne 2008 16 Year Old PX Cask HL21829, is a Highland dram bottled at 50% abv and packed with flavour. One of only 170 bottles to be drawn from this PX Hogshead, you’ll find the nose packed with Manuka honey, lemon zest and vanilla sponge. The palate meanwhile reveals honeycomb, red berries and a hint of tobacco, before finishing on a final crescendo of peppery spice.
