This non age statement bottling is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks, and bottled at a bold 50.5% abv.Â
Expect a nose of buttery vanilla ice-cream, tropical fruit, chocolate and a touch of sea salt. The palate brings waves of salted-caramel with bursts of pineapple, cherry and grapefruit, and an ocean breeze finish.Â

Glenglassaugh Torfa
$59.00 Availability: In StockGlenglassaugh was founded in 1875 by Colonel James Moir. Located on the Banffshire Coast, one mile west of the fishing village of Portsoy, Glenglassaugh is a true coastal distillery, and looks out over the white sandy beach of Sandend Bay. The distillery is just outside the Speyside region in the North East of Scotland making it a Highland distillery.
At Glenglassaugh, in addition to the traditional production, a very limited quantity of whisky is produced using richly peated malted barley as the cereal varietal. “Torfa”, referring to the Old Norse word for peat, is quite different to the usual style of whisky produced in the Highlands with its peaty, phenolic nature. This expression was matured in the finest Bourbon Barrels and is part of the Glenglassaugh core range. It is non chill filtered, and of natural colour.
