On the nose, there’s an immediate hit of dried fruits, raisins, and figs, followed by dark chocolate and warm winter spices. The palate is luxuriously rich and mouth-coating, offering layers of sweet sherry, treacle, and rich oak, balanced by hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cocoa. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of fruitcake, spice, and gentle oak tannins that fade softly.

This 12-year-old single malt from Edradour Distillery hails from the Highland region and offers a unique maturation in Bordeaux wine casks. A beautiful rare dram from Edradour. This expression was distilled in 1999 and was matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads for 13 years before being moved into two Bordeaux hogsheads where the remained for eight years before bottling in April 2022.

On the nose, there are buttery notes alongside orange peel and boiled sweets. The palate brings more orange peel, sweetened rose water, and white peppercorns before leading into the sumptuous and satisfying finish.

Distilled at Edradour in 2010, this Highland single malt spent fifteen patient years maturing in Quinta de São Francisco fortified wine hogsheads from Portugal.

Bottled exclusively for us at The Whisky Shop, this limited-edition expression from Edradour has been matured for 11 years within a single Oloroso sherry cask. Presented at 58.7% abv, the whisky is one of just 640 bottles.

An exceptional highly collectable dram. This expression spent ten years maturing in an ex-bourbon cask before just 1,783 bottles were filled at 59.6% abv in February 2022. A particularly refined Highland single malt!

On the nose, there is fresh honey, lemon peel, and menthol. The palate brings more honey, spiced oak, and vanilla pods before leading into the sweet and satisfying finish.
