A fine single malt from Clynelish, bottled and released by Thompson Bros at 49.1% abv. Matured for 12 years in Dechar French and American oak hogsheads, there are just 613 bottles of this vintage available.

On the nose expect a vibrant bouquet of orange blossom and zest leads into denser mandarin syrup, a waxy mouthfeel and antique copper, folded in by sweet pastries and spicy cinnamon. The palate is more intensified with rich and oily flavours of citrus, boiled sweets, and buttery pastry with cooking spices. The finish is long with lingering texture of syrup and thick marmalade.
