On the nose, spicy notes of toasted oak and cinnamon arise. The palate is fruity, with plenty of baked apples, pears, and a subtle woody note. The finish is powerful and refreshing.

The Highland expression was distilled at one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, Blair Athol. Matured for 10 years in refill hogshead casks, the flavours of the distillate shine through. Bottled at 46% abv.
On the nose we find notes of warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream, with peaches and ground almonds. The palate shows flavours of classic fruit and nut mix, with cinnamon and a touch of wood smoke on the close.

$120.00 Availability: In StockThis 21 Year Old Blair Athol Single Malt is a batch strength dram. This expression comes from a marriage of two ex-bourbon hogsheads, distilled in February 1997. Both of these casks were at a natural strength, and the resulting marriage is bottled at 60.2% abv. This is a yield of only 266 bottles, and this is the twelfth batch of this dram.
Discover apricot jam, Manuka honey, ginger, pepper, cinnamon and a subtle twist of oak on the nose. The palate is mouth coating, warming, and has a particular weight to it. You can expect notes of baked apple, dried fruit, apricot and pineapple. The finish combines these elements in an oily finish that goes down with a kick of spice. A controlled, delicately balanced success story.

Matured in ex-bodega European oak butts for 23 years, this is the first new bottling from the distillery since 2003. Presented at a natural cask strength of 58.4% abv, only 5,514 individually numbered bottles are available worldwide.The nose is dry with peanut brittle and honey atop crème brûlée and baked bananas with a complex and warming spice. The palate is rich, smooth and sweet, with spicy oak and liquorice amidst fruity aspects. Treacle toffee and aniseed turn to lemon zest and herbs. The finish is sweetly fragrant and spicy with fresh mint and charred oak. -

Like all expressions in the Darkness range, this single malt whisky is free from chill filtration and artificial colouration.
The nose is one of freshly baked shortbread, fudge chocolate, and almonds. Bitter cocoa, juicy orange, sultanas, and toasted oak all arrive on the palate. The finish is long and punchy, with nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and a sweet caramel characteristic.
