Description
Released for their 18th batch of spectacular single cask bottlings, this 30-year-old single malt from GlenDronach has been matured in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, personally selected by Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie, from 1990 to 2020. Just 402 bottles have been produced, each at 51.4% abv and without chill filtration or added colouring.
The nose has exquisite layers of dark chocolate, maraschino cherry and leather, paving way for a rich and jammy palate with flavours of blackberry jam, cherry chocolate and yellow plum. The finish has spiced cocoa and a lingering minerality.
