Description
Released for their 18th batch of spectacular single cask bottlings, this 27-year-old single malt from GlenDronach has been matured in a single Port pipe, personally selected by Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie, from 1992 to 2020. Just 853 bottles have been produced, each at 48% abv and without chill filtration or added colouring.
The nose is ripe with elegant Victoria plum, date and bramble preserved with waxed orange, rose honey and chocolate. The palate is rich with sultana and walnut cake laced with lemon, ginger and nutmeg, interwoven with the lingering finish of dark chocolate orange.
