This single malt from the Highland Park Distillery from Orkney is a great addition for any collector. Distilled in November 2007 and bottled by Duncan Taylor, this 13 year old single malt oozes with elegance. Only 312 bottles have been produced from this single-cask whisky. It spent its entire maturation process in oak casks, slowly gathering flavour until it reached peak maturity in November 2020. It is an eye-watering 54.3% abv and is sure to make you savour each taste.
Duncan Taylor’s Dimensions collection has been designed to reflect the multi-dimensional nature of distilleries, and this complex dram serves Highland Park well. The nose gives off aromas of peat smoke, and a light hint of oat biscuits. Toasted oak follows in the palate, with an underlying sweet nuttiness. The finish is long and luxurious, and bound to make you stop for peaceful reflection.
