Description
This Glengarioch Dimensions 2011 is a delicate, light dram, and perfectly appropriate for those looking to try something new. Distilled in 2011 in Glengarioch, in the Highlands of Scotland, it has been bottled by Duncan Taylor. This was matured for 10 years in oak casks. It is bottled at cask strength, a striking 54.5% abv, but it retains a remarkable smoothness. It is free from chill filtration and is a single cask whisky, from which only 220 bottles have been made.
The nose gives aromas of exotic spices, cardamom, and gentle floral notes. The palate gives notes of sweet blackberry jam, tropical fruits and toasted oak. The finish is a creamy harmony between citrus and exotic spices that linger. Add a drop of water to unlock further fruity flavours.
