Start clearing up a little space in your whisky cabinet. This small batch limited edition collection celebrates the treasure trove of beautiful casks at Fettercairn. This is the second release in the Warehouse Collection. This whisky is the product of 29 hand selected casks, all matured over time in a dark, humid, and cool environment. Bottled at 48.5% abv, it is free from chill filtration. A limited edition release, only 6,000 bottles of Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch No. 002 will be produced.
The aim is to showcase the tropical distillery’s character to its fullest extent. This character comes from a commitment to progressive whisky making, and this collection has been designed to share more intriguing drams than you would find elsewhere.
This expression has a natural colour, with beautiful rays of warm golden barley. Sweet honey, sugared almonds and soft spices are married with tropical fruit on the nose. A myriad of flavours dance on the palate, citrus fruits are balanced with ginger cake and warming maple syrup. The finish is a refined one, delicately poised between notes of roasted Arabica coffee beans with chocolate flavours. This is a fulfilling yet intriguing experience.
