A Glen Grant single malt scotch whisky at its rarest and most exceptional. Distilled in 1950, this archive release was bottled in 2018. Matured for 68 years in Gordon & Macphail’s own casks in Elgin, Scotland. In the warehouse, this expression gently matured in a refill sherry hogshead cask. This single-cask expression has an abv of 46.9%, and only 79 bottles of it were produced.
From cask number 2765, this Glen Grant has a deep amber hue, and is a knockout in looks. Expect notes of sweet sherry, rich chocolate and sugary caramel on the nose and palate. The finish is guaranteed to be extraordinary. After 68 years, the depth of character and flavour will be almost unmatched. An unforgettable experience.
