Description
A 39 year old single malt whisky from the Linkwood Distillery bottled by Gordon & Macphail for their Private Collection series. This whisky was distilled on 12th November 1981 and bottled on 26th April 2021. Only 102 bottles have been produced. This exceptionally rare whisky comes at a cask strength 53.2% abv and is free from artificial colouring and chill filtration.
A Speyside whisky at heart, it share the characteristics of fruity, floral notes. Notes of ripe pear and apple arrive on the nose, whilst orange peel, grapefruit and toasty oak enter the palate. The finish is long, delicate, and gives notes of oily spice. A celebration waiting to happen.
