Paul John Christmas Edition 2020 is the third release of the festive annual series from the distillery in Goa, India. For this year’s edition, Master Distiller Michael D’Souza blended single malts from a combination of ex-Bourbon, American virgin oak and Oloroso casks before bottling this expression at 46% abv.
Festive notes of orange peel, honeycomb and plum cake fill the nose, before a deep, creamy dark chocolate appears on the palate alongside gentle barley and soft spices. The finish is rich, long and very lightly peated. A Christmas delight!
