Description
Forest Gin is made at a family-run distillery in Cheshire and produces a maximum of 85 bottles per batch. Its recipe contains juniper, coriander, vanilla pods, liquorice root, Angelica and plenty of foraged berries, all of which are ground by hand using a pestle & mortar before distillation. The resulting spirit is blended with spring water from the Peak District to create unfiltered London Dry Gin at 42% abv.
This is a fragrant and earthy spirit with plenty of forest-floor flavours; subtle fruity notes, liquorice and a hint of cinnamon are detected on the palate before a lingering piney juniper in the finish.
