For the first time in two years, we are en route to Mexico — via Hollywood! — for this episode of Digital Drams, where we’ll be joined by Cara Watson, Diageo Tequila Ambassador, to explore four top-quality tequilas and one mezcal. The tasting will focus on George Clooney’s highly-rated Casamigos, but will also feature a special release of Don Julio; bottled to mark 70 years since Don Julio Gonzalez first started making Tequila. The event will take place next Thursday, 29th of August at the usual time of 7:30pm. Pick up your pack now to avoid disappointment.
Casamigos, often Casamigos Tequila, is an American tequila company founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman. It has been owned by Diageo since 2017. Don Julio is a brand of premium tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, established in 1942.
Each tasting pack will contain 5 x 3cl of:
- Casamigos Blanco Tequila
- Casamigos Reposado Tequila
- Casamigos Añejo Tequila
- Casamigos Joven Mezcal
- Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Tequila

After the event guests will receive a 15% discount on the tequilas/mezcals sampled on the night.
This event is hosted on Zoom. You’ll receive a link to the event in your tasting pack and by email prior to the event. If you join before the event is due to start you’ll enter the waiting room until being admitted to the tasting with all other participants.
Can’t attend on the night? Don’t worry! Our events are recorded and the video made publicly available the day after the tasting. The recording can then be accessed via the link in the pack, so you can purchase and enjoy in your own time or give as a gift to be enjoyed any time!
