Description
The third edition of Darnley’s Gin Cottage Series. This is a wild citrus gin that takes botanicals found around the Darnley Gin Cottage (where they create their signature expressions) and combine them into an altogether new gin. In this one, foraged sorrel and garden-grown lemon balm are the prioritised botanicals. They have been carefully selected for their wild citrus and herbaceous flavours, and the fact that they are native to their location in Fife is even more ideal.
The nose presents green apple, rose petal, lavender, and juniper. The palate gives hints of lemon freshness, with a strawberry and raspberry zing. The finish is smooth, with lovely fruit sweets, pineapple, and raspberry.
