Guatemala not only makes some of the world’s most celebrated rums, but it also exports a lot of sugar cane to other rum-producing countries. This spirit from Berry Bros. & Rudd down in London celebrates the countries sugar cane production with this, it’s signature Guatemala Rum. At 40.5% abv, this expression will make friends in any mixed drink.
The nose is quiet in character, with only a small hint of baklava, and oaty biscuits. There is a powerful sugar cane presence on the palate, but the finish is pleasingly dry, with oily cane honey making itself apparent.
