Description
In the 1960s, the Clynelish Distillery was updated with electricity installed and the still which had previously been heated by a hand-fired coal burning furnace converted to internal steam heating. Then, true to its origins as a model design, Clynelish was replaced by a new distillery built on an adjacent site in 1967-68.
Each Distillers Edition expression undergoes a second or double maturation in casks that have previously held a fortified wine. Brilliant, clean and refined with great balance, this Clynelish Distillers Edition has been double-matured in carefully selected Oloroso Seco casks, making it easy to drink.
