The first ever Foursquare release that features ex- Spanish Moscatel Casks in the maturation process, this fifteen year old Rum is the thirteenth release in the brand’s award-winning Exceptional Cask Selection series.
Crafted from a blend of two aged Rums, the liquid was developed by dual-maturation process in ex-Bourbon casks for over ten years, before finishing for five years in the moscatel wine casks.
The result is a Single Blended Rum, bottled at 57% abv, without chill-filtration, at its natural colour, and free from sweeteners and other adjuncts. Expect a complex, oily flavour profile of dark chocolate, ground mixed spices, ripe pineapple, gentle caramel, and a tangy, juicy lemon sherbert rush.
