Description
From the world-acclaimed Connoisseurs Choice range comes this Belmenach single malt whisky, independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in 1987, this expression has spent 32 years in a refill Sherry hogshead before being bottled in August 2020 at 51% abv without chill filtration or added colouring. Highly limited, just 208 bottles have been produced.
The nose is full of freshly baked fruit crumble with ginger spices. The spices continue in the palate, making way for notes of dark chocolate and brown sugar. The finish is medium bodied with almonds and dried tobacco.
