The expression has been matured in an ex-Apera wine cask, and bottled at a natural cask strength of 65% abv. On the bottle, the fictional legend of the dropbear is the deadly animal chosen to represent Fleurieu, a carnivorous version of the koala invented to scare away tourists.
Expect aromas of plum, toffee, roasted nuts with hints of smoke and sweet iodine peat. The palate is full of raisin and fig sweetness, which leads to a briny coastal maltiness. Smoky toffee, dried fruit and spicy oak follow into the close.

Founded in 1949, the distillery marked its 70th anniversary with this limited release, created on Honshu from a blend of grain whisky (primarily corn with a touch of wheat) and malt whisky, all matured for five years in new American white oak barrels. Non-chill filtered, it offers a naturally creamy character with a generous helping of vanilla and orchard fruits.

Crafted with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder, this expression is triple distilled at one of Ireland’s oldest distilleries and matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at 40% abv. Proper No. Twelve is named in homage to McGregor’s hometown, Crumlin, located in the Dublin 12 area.
The nose has vanilla pod, floral barley and woody notes. The palate brings fruity apple and honey, followed by a kick of white pepper. The finish brings a toasted oak heat with some soft caramel.

Rabbit Hole Heigold Kentucky Straight Bourbon

The name “Heigold” is in reference to Christian Heigold, a German stonecutter who came to Louisville in the 1850s. Enjoy this whisky neat or over ice. It also works exceptionally well in many a whiskey based cocktail.
The expression opens with aromas of caramel and gentle notes of cinnamon. The palate is oaky with butterscotch and the finish leaves you with hints of citrus and warm spices.

$99.50 Availability: In StockA part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Return to Oz collection showing off the best of Australian whisky, this single malt hails from Riverbourne distillery – located 60km southeast of Canberra. The expression was crafted using heavily peated malt from Bairds, and was matured for two years in an 100 litre cask made from recycled, charred oak wine staves. On the bottle, the deadly animal chosen to represent Riverbourne is the common death adder. It observes a whack-a-wombat session by the distillers, which is a reference to the destruction that local wombats cause in and around the distillery. Bottled at 51% abv.
Expect aromas of earthy yet medicinal iodine, together with heather honey and hints of tangerine creams. The palate is a bold one, opening up with waves of sweet smoke, candied citrus and vanilla toffee and closing with earthy peat and a pinch of salt.
