For Blue Label Chinese New Year 2024, Johnnie Walker have collaborated with world-renowned contemporary artist James Jean to create this exquisite limited-edition whisky. As the year of the wood dragon, Jean has reimagined the creature in his design as interwoven and layered with botanical elements, the result is something very striking indeed.

Expect mellow notes of dry smoke and sweet raisins on the nose, before layers of dried fruits and citrus smoke on the palate which evolve into honey, sweet spice and vanilla. On the finish, you’re rewarded with velvety chocolate and a touch of smoke.

The nose has demerara sugar, soft fruit and sweet wood. The sweetness continues in the palate, with notes of stewed apples and cocoa emerging alongside a wisp of smoke that lingers in a light and peppery finish.
