Noted for its extremely high level of esters, Hampden Estate has a distinct aromatic profile. Excellent for both sipping and mixology, the rum has been bottled at 46% abv.
The nose is voluptuous and intense, with notes of ripe banana, mixed spice, orange zest and baked apple. Flavours of ginger, vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee and praline on the palate lead to a lingering and waxy finish.Â

The nose is sweet, with hints of tropical fruits, vanilla ice-cream, and honey. The palate gets a little darker, as toffee swirls around the tongue with freshly planed oak, banana, and a certain oiliness. The finish gives a beautiful kick of spice.
