    One of the very first smoked rums in the U.K. From the award-winning Cut Rum company, comes this Smoked Rum. An expression which is the result of a Jamaican and Scottish collaboration, this celebrates the peaty and smoky tendencies of Scottish whisky with a distinctly Jamaican soul. 3 year old Jamaican rum is produced in copper pot stills made by Forsyth’s Still Makers in Speyside.

     

    The smoke from oak chips is burnt and the resulting smoke is infused with the rum to create a very strong, beautifully smoky rum. The nose gives hints of pipe tobacco, coffee and oaked vanilla. With flavours of brown sugar, leather, and charred wood, the finish is an earthy, charcoal punch. Truly unique.

    A premium Caribbean rum with a Scottish connection. This Jamaican rum is one of Cut Rum’s signature expressions and uses pot still from Forsyth’s Still Makers in Speyside. Aged in American bourbon barrels, this is heavy on the spice. Infused with peppercorns from Madagascar, cinnamon and aniseed from India and nutmeg from the West Indies, Cut Rum have scoured the globe for the finest natural ingredients.

    The nose gives off notes of orange, vanilla, and dried spices. On the taste is creamy caramel, sea salt and peppercorn, leading to a lingering spicy finish. Real rum, real spice.
