A 39-year-old single malt from Speyside distillery Convalmore was matured in a bespoke G&M refill sherry hogshead. A glimpse into the whiskies of the past, the forgotten flavours of Convalmore, it’s waxy and fruity notes, have been captured in all their former glory in this dram, which is presented at 51.1% abv.

Convalmore 32 Year Old 2017 Special Release
$1,295.00 Availability: In StockOne of the 2017 Special Releases from Diageo, this Speyside single malt was distilled at the now closed Convalmore distillery in Dufftown. Filled to refill American oak hogsheads in 1984 and aged for 32 years, only 3,972 bottles have been produced at a natural cask strength of 48.2% abv.The nose is mellow and sweet, with pastry, nutmeg and almond oil, all atop fruity notes and brown sugar sweetness. The palate is smooth and fruity with a trace of crisp acidity and oak spice balancing the sweetness. Apples and pastry persist with caramelised fruits. The finish is warming and spicy with liquorice fading to stewed fruits and lingering oak notes. -
Private Collection Convalmore 1975 #2564
$3,749.00 Availability: In StockReleased as part of Gordon & MacPhail’s Private Collection, this Speyside single malt was distilled at the now-closed Convalmore distillery in Dufftown. Filled into a refill American oak hogshead in 1975 and aged for 46 years, only 138 bottles have been produced at 47.8% abv.
The nose brings Turkish delight, lemon zest, and candied orange peel. The palate is floral, complemented by notes of lemon curd and orange rind. The finish is smooth with notes of Madagascan vanilla and citrus appearing at the close.
