Brûlée Royale is a sumptuous one-off release that celebrates the sweet alchemy of fire and oak. Crafted by lead whiskymaker Samuel Travers, this limited edition combines rare single malts to create a dram of exceptional depth and indulgence. Inspired by the 17th-century French chef François Massialot, the pioneer of the first recorded crème brûlée recipe, this whisky reflects the precision of caramelised sugar transformed by flame. It highlights specially selected parcels, including Clynelish matured in second-fill American oak barrels that were toasted and charred to exacting standards. At 49% ABV, Brûlée Royale delivers a full-bodied richness and a lingering sweetness that invites slow savouring.

Expect a nose of crème brûlée, poached pears and freshly split vanilla pods. The palate is thick and velvety with clotted cream, honeyed malt and broiled peaches, unfolding into layers of custard Danish and gently toasted tarte Tatin. A soft nutmeg spice drifts through silken jersey milk, finishing with whispers of burnt toffee and a playful hint of banana split. 

Flaming Heart 2025 is a bold, limited-edition release from Compass Box, celebrating 25 years of innovative whisky making. This edition brings together French oak-matured single malts and peated whiskies, creating a rich, layered profile. Bottled at 48.9% ABV with natural colour and no chill filtration, this is a limited dram with just 9,384 bottles released. On the nose, it opens with oily smoke and vibrant spice, followed by notes of raspberry, apricot, and tarry rope. The palate is full of clove, pepper, and nutmeg melding with medicinal peat and white fruit. The finish brings wave after wave of smoke, menthol, and citrus oil.

An impressive, smoky blend from Compass Box. Glasgow Blend was made from whiskies matured in first fill bourbon barrels, refill barrels, first fill sherry butts, and French oak casks. An outstanding sweet and spicy dram!

Aromas of nutmeg, Madagascan vanilla, and cinnamon sugar fill the nose, while the palate brings smouldering bonfire, baking spices, and Christmas cake. The finish is long and pleasantly smoky.

Juveniles is the result of a collaboration between whisky blender Compass Box and Paris wine bar Juveniles Bistrot à Vins. Whisky maker John Glaser and Tim Johnston are long-time friends and this special whisky has been created to celebrate both wine and their friendship.

Acknowledging Tim’s request to create something ‘bright, smooth, not smoky…’, John Glaser has pulled together whisky from Strathmill, Balmenach, Clynelish and Glendullan from refill hogsheads, re-charred hogsheads and both first-fill and refill sherry butts to create a vivid and bright dram that balances barley sugar and pear drop notes against sweet vanilla and an underlying herbal character.

This single malt Scotch is the first chapter of a limited edition trio of releases from Compass Box Scotch Whiskymakers. Designed to challenge the ‘myths and legends’ that are often perceived as the rules of Scotch whisky, this release is produced with two parcels of Highland single malt whisky, each from Balblair distillery, but with markedly different flavour profiles. The Whiskymakers believe that the marriage of the parcels in this single malt affords a new understanding of what the distillery can produce. Crafted with 15-year-old, 16-year-old and 22-year-old whisky, this first release is bottled at 46% abv and limited to just 4,394 bottles worldwide.

The nose is light and fruity with a touch of oak spice. The palate has a rich creamy character with malty cereal notes, ripe orchard fruits and salted caramel, before a long and satisfying finish.

This single malt Scotch is the second chapter of a limited edition trio of releases from Compass Box Scotch Whiskymakers. Designed to challenge the ‘myths and legends’ that are often perceived as the rules of Scotch whisky, this release is produced with whiskies of different ages, all distilled at Glen Elgin distillery in Speyside. The Whiskymakers set out to showcase the influence not of region, but of process decisions at the distillery, the effects of maturation, and the choices made in the balance of the final blend. Crafted with whisky ranging from 16 to 23 years old, this second release is bottled at 46% abv and limited to just 4,446 bottles worldwide.

The nose is sweet and fruity with exotic fruits bursting on the palate with a silky butterscotch note, before a savoury quality and some sweet spice in the long-lasting finish.

Orchard House is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, comprised mostly of whisky from Linkwood, Clynelish, and Benrinnes. This fabulously fruity blend was bottled at 46% abv without chill filtration or added colouring.

Aromas of grape, pear, and incense fill the nose. Vibrant flavours of maple syrup and gentle peat smoke appear on the palate. The finish is smooth with Victoria sponge cake and orchard fruits.

In celebration of their 20th anniversary, Compass Box has released a limited-edition version of The Peat Monster blended malt. Peat Monster Arcana was made by taking a cask strength version of the original bottling and then maturing it in three French oak custom casks for more than two years. It was then blended with malt whiskies from Talisker, Miltonduff and Ardbeg Distilleries in order to create a rich, spicy and smoky profile. A perfect pairing with blue cheese!

Aromas of chocolate, cinnamon and tar fill the nose, while the palate is fruity and waxy with notes of lemons, shortbread and orange peel. Peat smoke lingers throughout to a dry and delicious finish.
