The aromas on the nose are powerful, with black cherries and tobacco, followed by a hint of toasted oak. Stewed plums, Damson jam and poached pears are delicious on the palate, with sticky toffee pudding, vanilla ice cream and shortbread too. The oak lasts and lasts on the palate, with an aftertaste of sherry-soaked fruit.Â

This magnificent 24-year-old expression has been finished in a specialy-coopered Pedro Ximénez octave cask, allowing for huge sherry-bomb notes, before being bottled at 52.6% abv.
The nose is rich and sweet with chocolate orange, fruit pudding, cherry compote and salted caramel. More chocolate flavours develop on the palate, with brown sugar, raisin and orange oil, making way for a chewy and big finish.Â
