Bottled to celebrate 100 years of Caroni, this is a punchy limited-edition rum. Matured in the beautiful island of Trinidad for 18 years, this rum comes with an identical replica of the label of 1940s Caroni rum. A product of La Maison Du Whisky & Velier, and is presented at 51.4% abv. the result is a hearty single-column rum, fit for a sailor.
Expect notes of ripe banana, dried fruits, and nuttiness. The palate gives hints of tropical fruits, gooseberry, a wisp of smoke and camphor. This smoke lingers in a sensational palate. A special rum for a special distillery.
