Description
This single grain Scotch whisky was distilled in May 1995 at Invergordon and matured for 21 years in a single bourbon barrel. Bottled in April 2017 as part of The Sovereign range by respected independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. of Glasgow, this expression is presented at a natural cask strength of 49% abv.
The nose has intense vanilla and fruits, with pear and a hint of apple. The palate is smooth and honeyed with cereals and nuts. The finish is long and drying with nutty aspects and a pleasant pepper note.
